துப்பார்க்குத் துப்பாய துப்பாக்கித் துப்பார்க்குத் 

துப்பாய தூஉம் மழை.

பொருள் :

நல்ல உணவுகளைச் சமைக்கவும், சமைக்கப்பட்ட உணவுகளை உண்பவர்க்கு இன்னுமோர் உணவாகவும் பயன்படுவது மழையே.

பழமொழி :

Never cast the oar till you are out

கரையை அடையும் முன் துடுப்பை எறியாதே.

இரண்டொழுக்க பண்புகள் :

1. நீரின்று அமையாது உலகு எனவே நீரை வீணாக்க மாட்டேன். 

2. உழவு தொழில் இல்லை என்றால் இவ்வுலகு இல்லை. எனவே உழவரையும் உழவுத் தொழிலையும் மதிப்பேன்.
